School library

The school library is an educational and recreational resource for the students, parents and staff of the school. It aims to:

  • support the educational programs of the school
  • curricula with an emphasis on information skills;
  • promote recreational reading for students;
  • encourage a love of learning and foster the enjoyment of reading for pleasure.
  • Provide a modern area for technology and research to occur resourced by wireless technology.

All students at the school have the opportunity to use the school library on a regular basis, and to borrow library books and materials. Children are requested to use library bags to take care of borrowed books in transit.

Library bags are available from the Library & the canteen at a cost of $4.50

The library is open at lunchtime each day from 1:40 – 2:10pm for children to read, browse, draw and play some indoor games.

Note: Children who leave the school must return all library materials before departure.
